Ive been looking for a sleep positioner for my 6month old daughter, All the ones ive found seem to be for babies aged 0-6months, Some of them are adjustable. Just wanted to know if anyone knows of quite a large adjustable one as my daughter is 18lb almost. Thanks.
Im in the uk btw.
I dont really want it cos i worry, My daughter rolls on her front and gets distressed, She hasnt figuged how to get back over yet.
She just lays crying instead of sleeping so im having to settle her in my arms to then putting her down, she doesnt roll in her sleep just when she is awake. Shes hates it on her tummy, even during the day when she is playing, she gets distressed cos she cant roll back over or crawl.

I am due any day now and this is the one thing that we still have not figured out. We have a crib in the nursery but for the first few weeks he probably wont use it as its to far away for feedings, we don't have enough room at the side of the bed for a full co-sleeper, a bassinet is very expensive for something that will only be used a short time. We do have an inclined sleep positioner which is a kind of pillow wedge and we were thinking of putting that between us in our bed and putting him in with us but my mother who is staying with us thinks that he should have his own separate sleeping area in our room somewhere. Other than that we have a baby swing but I wouldn't let him sleep the night in there.
Any advice or suggestions?

My son is 4 months old and has slept using an incline sleep positioner since he was born. He is now starting to outgrow it. How did your baby sleep when he/she no longer had the sleep positioner? I am curious because tonight we’re going to put him down without it and I want to know what to expect…if he will be uncomfortable, cry, fussiness, etc.
KR- my son did the exact same thing yesterday morning! We took out the positioner last night and for today's morning nap and he's sleeping just fine. Thanks for everyone's advice!

My four month old baby is able to roll from back to tummy and from tummy to back. I put him to sleep on his back and he tosses and turns a bit before he actually falls asleep. Recently, he's been rolling onto his tummy and then he cries. So, I roll him back and several minutes later he's crying again.
So, I tried a sleep positioner that we got when he was an infant. He cried for a while (I sat next to the crib and rubbed his head and talked softly to him) and it seems that he's now fallen asleep.
I've read that they are good for up to age 6 months. So, my question:
Have you used a sleep positioner on your rolling baby? Did it work? What happened after 6 months.
I know that some babies sleep on their tummy, but I've read that "back is best" for reducing SIDS.
New mom so please forgive the "overprotectiveness."

I put my 2 month old in a sleep positoiner. Well I checked in on her last night and she was completley out of it, She was laying at the bottom. So my husband and I thought It was to loose, so we made it smaller, and again this morning, she was out of it, slid all the way through it. Is this normal? Does she not need it anymore? When she was younger I did swaddle her and it worked fine, now she dosent like to be swalled there for she is sleeping only in her night clothes……
